Quick Teaching Bio:
I'm an actor, writer, filmmaker, and teaching artist based in Brooklyn. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 2013. I've also trained at The Actors Center, Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied acting for film with Bob Krakower.
As a teacher, I have experience in a variety of educational settings, including arts education programs, artist residencies in public schools, and at the college level. I began my career after college as a teacher's assistant in a high school special education classroom before pursuing acting full-time.
I was a company member with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey for five years and taught Shakespeare in their educational theater programs. I taught playwrighting with Writers Theatre of New Jersey and was a regular performer with their award-winning Young Playwrights Festival. I've also guest lectured in the education and theater departments at CCNY and am currently a guest instructor at HB Studios.
I have the deepest respect for actors and understand the stress that a life in the theater can bring, especially in the early stages of a career. Since moving to NYC, I've been working with actors as a mentor and coach. I try to pass on the generosity and support that many teachers offered me.
As a filmmaker, I also bring technical knowledge that can make filming self-tape auditions efficient and easy.
Actors I've worked with are currently attending Yale School of Drama, Harvard/ART, the University of North Carolina, and NYU Graduate Acting. Recent client bookings include Netflix's Jessica Jones and Mindhunter, as well as theater projects across the country.
